ST. PAUL'S CO-EDUCATIONAL COLLEGE

S.P.C.C. badge St. Paul's Co-educational College, 聖 保 羅 男 女 中 學, is located on Macdonnell Road, Mid-level, Hong Kong. It was founded in 1915, originally as a girl's school. After the World War II, it merged with St. Paul's Boys College (today's St. Paul's College) and has been co-educational since then.

Besides academic achievement, S.P.C.C. students are best known for their musical skills. outside S.P.C.C. Every student is required to learn to play a musical instrument, regardless of the student's interest in other areas.

On the other hand, S.P.C.C. is notorious for its conservatism (at least within the school). In 1918, S.P.C.C. was the first school in Hong Kong to make school uniform compulsory for students. Unlike most secondary schools in Hong Kong, S.P.C.C. lacks a school-wide representative student orgranization. inside S.P.C.C. The school is run by the staff and the principal entirely; students have no direct way to communicate with the school. Class societies and some other interest groups are allowed, however. Students also have few chances to participate in inter-school competitions that are not related to music.

Sport facilities include an indoor swimming pool, an indoor gym, an outdoor basketball court and an outdoor triangle soccer field. A Swimming Gala and two Sport Days are held every year. Other annual events are Art Club Exhibition, Summer Concert, Speech Day, Games Days, and Current Affairs Club election.
